Bendix Protrans is the new premium asbestos-free formulation based on a European heritage with an original equipment (OE) background.

Protrans is available now in a wide range of commercial vehicle references for American, European and Japanese trucks and buses.

With a FF rating (SAE J66ja test procedure) and an average friction level of 0.39, Protrans provides excellent wear and drum effect characteristics. It is very quiet in all operations and has a Maximum Continuous Working Temperature (MCWT) of 300 degrees Celsius.

Protrans is a multi purpose material that can be used in a wide range of applications including bus, light truck, trailer and common general purpose axles as well as for heavy truck applications. It is available for most late model and popular heavy vehicle applications.

Bendix Econotrans is a FF rated asbestos free standard brake lining material developed as a cost effective compound. It is a mid-range lining material formulated for light to medium duty applications where the initial price is important.

Econotrans is available in a limited but growing range of popular references.

Bendix Metrotrans is a non asbestos organic (NAO) compound that is available in FF, FE and EE ratings to suit a wide range of Japanese vehicles and other specific applications.
